Certified Green Building Professional Training (CGBP)

As more and more people seek professionals who are qualified to provide green building services, now is your chance to establish yourself in this profitable niche and distinguish yourself in the marketplace. In this training, learn about the overarching principles of green building and the systems approach to the design, construction and operation of buildings. 

Advanced CGBP Trainings

These two-day, how-to courses are designed to provide construction professionals with a comprehensive step-by-step process to evaluate a home prior to an upgrade or remodel with emphasis on improving energy efficiency and indoor air quality while reducing contractor risk.

Advanced Trainings expand on the introductory Certified Green Building Professional training, which is recommended but not required ahead of this course.  CGBP's and GreenPoint Rated Advisors & Raters can acheive 16 continuing education units by attending this course. 
 
GreenPoint Rated is a third-party rating system that removes the guesswork from evaluating a home's green features. There are two GreenPoint Rated Systems for verifying, for New and Existing Homes.  At the heart of the program are Certified GreenPoint Rated: Advisors & Raters -- the people who evaluate each home to ensure it meets the program's standards for high performance.  Raters and Advisors can be located using our online Directory Listing
 

NEW!!  BPI: Building Analyst Training & Exam

This flexible six-day course is designed to be delivered partly in a classroom setting and partly in-the-field to give students practical experience using some of the diagnostic tools necessary for properly evaluating a home’s performance.  Building Science theory and fundamentals are taught in the classroom to lay the foundation for good home performance problem solving and remediation.
