We offer a virtual, on-demand course created to provide credible and accessible training on introductory green building practices, Certified Green Building Professional.
Over the course of 40 lessons, which take roughly 16 hours to complete, students are introduced to the main principles of green building and the systems approach to the design, construction, and operation of buildings. The course provides a foundational understanding of energy efficiency, resource and water conservation, and indoor air quality. An exam at the end of the course tests comprehension, and a certificate is issued for the training if the student achieves at least 80% correct answers. Support is available if students have additional questions about the material or want to learn more.
If you would like to become a GreenPoint Rater, we also offer virtual, on-demand trainings to become certified at any time. See the requirements and courses on our virtual classroom.
