Build It Green believes that engaging the real estate community is one of the keys to bringing green homes into the mainstream.
To that end, we have helped train more than 1,000 real estate professionals statewide to achieve certifications like the National Association of REALTORS® Green Designation.
Certified green real estate agents are able to educate homebuyers and sellers about the advantages of green, energy-efficient homes and help homebuyers take advantage of rebates and financing to make existing homes healthier, more comfortable, and more efficient.
BIG’s long-term goal is to stimulate demand for green homes by helping buyers and sellers understand the value and benefits of these homes.

He has a solid communication background with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from California State University, Chico. Alex is adept at strategic communications and media relations, with experience gathering and sharing stories from his local communities that uplift the unique spirit and values of those places.
