Program Participation Workshop

This workshop is required to be listed as a Participating Contractor in Alameda County and to attend the free Prescriptive Training. It begins with a one-hour overview of the Energy Upgrade California program in Alameda County. Topics will include contractor participation opportunities, training and certification requirements, project eligibility, rebate and financing options. In addition, attendees will learn about the participation requirements for PG&E’s Whole House Performance Pilot Program and support for contractors working in Alameda County.
City building and planning staff are also encouraged to attend the first hour of the workshop for a program overview.
Prescriptive Training
This three-day workshop is required for contractors who are not BPI-Building Analyst certified. It provides in-depth information on the basic measures for single-family upgrades that qualify for rebates and can lead to a GreenPoint Rated label.

Requirements/Registration
Pre-registration is required. You must attend one (1) of the Program Participation Workshops in order to attend the (free) Prescriptive Training. Space is limited.
