Energy Code Updates
for Public Agencies
12/11 | 11:00 pm – 12:00 pm | Register Now
Prepare to implement new building requirements as they roll out over the next several years. Join our Residential Green and Energy Code Updates for Public Agencies Webinar to discuss code changes that are underway.
New energy and green requirements in California's 2013 Building Code go into effect on January 1, 2014. The new energy code is slated to be approximately 25% more rigorous across climate zones to meet California's goal for all new homes to be net zero by 2020. Updates to CALGreen, the state's green building code, will likely include provisions for residential additions and major remodels. GreenPoint Rated is also modifying its program in unison with these code changes.
As a public agency professional it is important to be prepared for coming changes. Be among the first to learn what you can expect in the next couple of years. Build It Green's Tenaya Asan, Senior Manager in the GreenPoint Rated Program, will give you an overview and get you started on the next generation of green homes!
