Rater Council Meeting

Tuesday, October 9th| 3:30-5:00 PM | Register Now

We have started our 2013 program revision and review process to update the suite of rating system documents (Rating Manual, Data Collection Form, and supporting documents) for all four of the rating systems (New Home Single Family, New Home Multifamily, Existing Home Single Family and Existing Home Multifamily). Join us for a discussion about the review process and how you can get involved.

As always, we will post the meeting as a video file and PDF for those of you who cannot attend on the 9th. See an archive of previous meetings.

Updates to Tools
and Resources

Below are revised Data Collection Forms addressing some minor errors. Because these changes do not affect the content of the associated rating system manuals, only the Data Collection Forms version numbers are changed. The "Update Log" worksheet found in the Data Collection Form provides a brief explanation of the changes made to the document.

Statement of Rater Change

We now have a new Statement of Rater Change document. If you want to be named as the Rater of Record for a project that has previously registered under another Rater, you and your new client will need to fill out and submit this new form to GreenPoint Rated.

The Data Collection Form and the above document can be found on the Rater Resources web page.

New Home Project Tracking
System Update

We are in the process of completing a number of updates to the GreenPoint Rated Tracking System. These updates will be occurring over the next few months. We will be keeping you informed as to the nature of the updates and when they will be occurring. Additionally we will be having training on the updates as appropriate. The first round of updates will go into effect on Tuesday, October 2nd after 1pm. The system will be down between 11AM and 1PM on that day to make the updates. This first round of updates includes the following:

  • Revised letters of achievement that go out to the homeowner and builder. Samples of these letter will be placed in the resources section of the tracking system.
  • The ability to customize which certificates get printed.
  • The addition of climate calculator data status. This status will be set by GPR staff when reviewing the application and/or submittal and will appear under the initial application and final submittal.
  • An update to the "Comment" area to facilitate posting and emailing.
  • New fields on the Project Details page. New fields include units completed in this phase, total units in project, units completed through this phase.

If you have comments on these updates or questions, please email us. We are looking forward to rolling out a number of improvements over the next month.
