Event Description

ZNE Builder Innovations, Pt. 1: The Meritage Standard

Join us for part one of our Net Zero Energy builder webinar series, developed in partnership with the Net-Zero Energy Coalition. This series will focus on cutting-edge net-zero energy projects across North America. The builders and projects featured represent different climate zones, product types, and technologies. Our builders will share their reasons for building NZE, project costs, new technologies, and business implications. This webinar will bring other builders information that can help jump start their projects, give industry stakeholders an in-depth look at what it takes to complete ZNE projects, and connect attendees with experts who can make their projects a reality. This presentation will provide tools and resources that help achieve straight-forward and cost effective energy efficiency, making a home “Zero Ready”.

Our presenter for Part One of the series is C.R. Herro, Vice President of Environmental Affairs at Meritage Homes.  C.R. leads Meritage’s Energy and Innovation Program which combines design, energy efficiency, water management, sustainability, and new technologies to establish a new standard in home building that provide better comfort, healthier air, and cost less to own and operate.   In this webinar, he will present information about some of their latest projects and designs.
