RecycleWorks and the Green Building Exchange in Redwood City present "Designing with The Sun and Wind in Mind" as part of their "A Taste and A Talk Series."
Dana Motley Zausch of Osborne Architects will speak about her experience on a project in Menlo Park and how they used the sun and wind to naturally cool the house in the summer and heat it in the winter. Using these passive heating and cooling design principles can keep the home comfortable and save homeowners hundreds of dollars on energy bills without installing a solar photovoltaic system or wind turbine. Light refreshments will be served beginning at 5pm and the talk will begin at 5:30. Please RSVP to Jeffery Liang at (650) 599-1485 or greenbuild@recycleworks.org.
