Advance registration is required. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limited class size. Online registration is preferred and available through the Event Calendar or Upcoming Events links to the right, but registration by mail is also available.

Fees Include

GreenPoint Rater - New Home Training

Participants receive a resource binder that includes:

  • Build It Green New Home Construction and Home Remodeling Green Building Guidelines
  • GreenPoint Rater Handbook
  • Single Family and Multifamily Rating Manuals
  • All course presentation print materials and additional participation information

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Successful graduates will receive a certificate, ID card, hard hat, and clipboard.

GreenPoint Rater - Existing Home Training

Participants receive a resource binder that includes:

  • Build It Green Home Remodeling Green Building Guidelines
  • GreenPoint Rater - Existing Home Training Binder
  • GreenPoint Rated - Existing Home Rating Manual
  • GreenPoint Rated - Existing Home Program Policies and Procedures Handbook
  • GreenPoint Rated - Existing Home Checklist
  • Homeowner brochures and educational material

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Successful graduates will receive a certificate, ID card, hard hat, and clipboard.

Cancellation Policy

Participants will receive a 50% refund if cancellation is requested at least eight days prior to the training. No refunds will be given within seven days of the training. All participants may receive a 100% credit toward a future Build It Green Professional Training as long as it is used within 12 months of the original registered training date. Registered participants must notify Build It Green of their cancellation plans and whether they wish to apply credit to a future training. After 12 months the credit expires and the full fee will have to be paid again in order to take the training.

  • If you wish to reschedule less than eight days prior to the training, there will be a $100.00 fee deducted from
    the credit.
  • In the event that you do not show up for training
    and we haven't received prior communication from you, there will be a $200.00
    fee deducted from the credit.
