Tour Overview:

Don't miss the second Build It Green Home Tour in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, where 14 green-built and remodeled homes will showcase innovative techniques and products.

Check out a wide array of green features installed in homes such as:

  • Solar hot water and solar electric systems
  • Radiant floor heating
  • Bamboo and cork flooring
  • Recycled glass countertops
  • Salvaged and sustainably harvested woods
  • Green roofs and graywater systems
  • Dual-flush toilets and much more!

Tour Admission: $20/person or $40/admits two

The Tour Guidebook is your admission ticket to each home. Each person needs a Guidebook to go on the Tour and will be asked to show it upon entering each home. Children under 16 do not need a guidebook.

Tour Guidebooks are $20/per person or two tour-goers may share one guidebook for $40. So, if you're touring with a friend, save paper and shipping costs when you purchase online!

 

Purchasing Guidebooks:

Online Sales: Guidebooks can be purchased online by credit card and mailed to you up to one week prior to the tour.

Local Sales: Guidebooks are available for sale at a number of local retail locations throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties beginning September 1st.
