California Multifamily Existing Building Training

Field Tutorial:

This 5 and a half-day course gives you the basic tools and knowledge to become the verification agent for many of the state programs addressing existing multifamily buildings. You will learn how to work with clients to provide an audit and verify energy, water, and resource conservation, indoor air quality, and basic health and safety measures.
This course prepares you to take exams for the following certifications:

GreenPoint Rater for Multifamily Existing Homes (exam included in price)

BPI Multifamily Building Analyst (separate exam fee applies, not included in price)
Pre-requisites, Eligibility, and Training Series

Pre-requisite: You must take GreenPoint Rated Core or already be certified as a GreenPoint New Home Rater before you can take the GreenPoint Rated Multifamily Existing Building Training.

Training Series: To meet the pre-requisite requirements of this course, we are offering a training series starting with Certified Green Building Professional on November 14 & 15 in Oakland and then GreenPoint Rated Core on December 5, 6, and 10 in Oakland. A limited number of full scholarships are available for the series! Apply to one or all three trainings using the button below.
Fees and Registration

Requirements for the GPR-EH-MF Rater Certification:

Attendance: participants must attend all training days.

Pass the Written Exam: participants must receive a passing grade of 80% on the written exam during the training. If you do not receive a passing grade, you may re-take the exam for a fee of $50.
Refreshments:
Coffee and other beverages are available throughout the day. Cookies are served in the afternoon. Attendees are responsible for their own breakfast and lunch.
