Topic: Local Rebate Programs

Join us for a workshop on residential energy efficiency rebates available in the North Bay! This workshop offers a "hands on" introduction to home energy upgrades and the rebates & incentives which encourage them. Speakers include Torsten Glidden who helps administer the Energy Upgrade CA program at BIG, Peter Waring who analyzes buildings for possible upgrades & helps projects satisfy State & local Green Building requirements, and John Rising of Rising Design who is an Energy Upgrade CA Building Performance contractor. During the presentation we will walk you through the steps to secure rebates, incentives, and tax credits. The presentation will also feature a "show and tell"  of a recent energy upgrade which included extensive attic & wall treatments and a solar pre-heated combined hydronic system providing both domestic hot water and space heating. We look forward to seeing you there!
