-- THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED --
Topic Description:
According to a McGraw Hill survey, the green share of new homes has jumped from 2% in 2005 to 17% in 2011. Over the next 5 years, this share is expected to double. As a home builder, you might already build green but are you leaving opportunities on the table? Many builders do not know how to market the green features that make their homes a cut above the rest. Do you know how to talk about the benefits of green homes to your clients?
In this Builders’ Forum, moderator Deborah Lichliter, Corporate Sales Manager for Build It Green, will go over the basics of sales and marketing for green homes, to prepare the audience for the discussion.
Mr. Bob Kronenfeld with KB Homes will deliver a production level green homes-for-sale case study where they designed with green in mind, marketed to their audience and as a result were able to create more desirability. Together, they will identify the important features in a green home and how to send out the right marketing message.
The Forum will then open for a Q&A session in which Builders can ask specific questions about the case study or discuss their own projects, such as what has previously worked and what barriers they have had to face, and how to move passed those obstacles.
