Triple Training: Certified Green Building Professional

Tuesday, Mar. 20 | 8 am – 5 pm

Wednesday, Mar. 21 | 8 am – 5 pm, 1-hour exam at 4 pm

This 2-day course introduces the main principles of green building and the systems approach to the design, construction and operation of buildings. It provides an understanding of energy efficiency, resource conservation, water conservation, and indoor air quality, and how to effectively convey the importance of these principles and market your business to homeowners. Pre-requisites, Eligibility, and Training Series

There are no pre-requisites or eligibility requirements to take Certified Green Building Professional training.

Triple Training Series: This course is being offered as a pre-requisite for the GreenPoint Rated Core training in Downey, CA on Mar. 22–24 and the GreenPoint Rated Existing Home Single Family training in Downey, CA on Mar. 26–27, 2012. A limited number of scholarships are available for qualifying building professionals in LA County! Apply to one or all trainings using the button below.

Course Fee: $400 Members | $450 non-Members

Early Bird: $50 discount for registration 30 or more days in advance

For those who are taking CGBP only, please note that there are no requirements or prerequisites for this training. The GreenPoint Rated application linked below is for registration and Build It Green's record keeping purposes only.

Requirements for the CGBP Certification:

Attendance - Participants must attend both training days.
Pass the Exam - Participants must receive a passing grade of 80% on the final exam (open-book at the end of day 2). If you do not receive a passing grade, you may re-take the exam for a fee of $50.

Coffee and other beverages are available throughout the day. Attendees are responsible for their own breakfast and lunch.
