Chris Hunt, Principal - PowerDown
Phone: 650-580-6621
Chris Hunt is a principal at PowerDown, an energy consulting service that provides electricity audits to homeowners in Northern California.  When starting PowerDown Chris developed a technique for circuit-by-circuit analysis of electricity usage in the home that helps determine and eliminate wasteful background power draw.  Chris first transformed his own house to be as efficient as possible in 2007 and started PowerDown to help California residents realize the economic and environmental benefits of energy conservation. His clients have saved anywhere from 13% to 35% month over month after a PowerDown audit.  Before starting his current firm, Chris served as a Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank and in product management positions at Adobe and Oracle as well as several start-ups.   Chris often presents at community-related energy events and has conducted classes at PG&E's Training Centers.
