Speaker Information:

Marc Larby is the owner of Light Express in San Rafael, and has been in lighting for 30 years and is a past board member of the local IES Golden Gate chapter. He started with an interest in energy efficiency retrofits for (primarily) commercial projects; In addition to taking lighting classes at the PG & E Energy Center in San Francisco, he expanded his knowledge during years of working for himself, for manufacturers, and at the old Marin Lights where he was introduced to residential lighting (1989).
Light Express was started as a retail/wholesale outlet in 1994, primarily serving the residential and small commercial markets. They attempt to stay on top of both the decorative and technological trends.
