Course Description
Energy Upgrade California is putting contractors back to work. The program encourages homeowners to make their homes more energy efficient by connecting them with rebate programs and contractors who are qualified to do the work.
The GreenPoint Rated Elements course qualifies BPI Building Analysts to provide Energy Upgrade California’s green enhancements. The program’s green contractor list will connect you with thousands of California homeowners looking for upgrades that go beyond energy efficiency to address better indoor air quality, waste reduction, and water and resource conservation.
The Elements course is based on the more comprehensive GreenPoint Rated Existing Home training. This class teaches you to verify select GreenPoint Rated measures for single family homes. You will learn how to incorporate energy efficiency, water and resource conservation, indoor air quality, and basic health and safety issues into your upgrades. After passing the exam, you will receive your certification.

Participants who meet the eligibility requirements and pass the exam will earn the GreenPoint Rater Elements Certification.
