Over 3600 Rebates Redeemed for
Energy Efficiency Upgrades

Our PG&E Whole House team administers the Energy Upgrade California program for PG&E territory, offering technical support and training for contractors and helping them through the submittal process for the rebates on energy upgrade -- savings which can be a powerful incentive for potential clients to make green upgrades to their home. This program is putting contractors back to work while making homes more healthy and energy efficient, which in turn reduces greenhouse gas emissions. And, we've got over 4600 more projects in the pipeline, so the good work continues!

Get Certified at Our Upcoming Training

California Multifamily Existing Building Training
This five and a half-day training aims to train qualified HERS II Raters and other qualified professionals to support the upgrade of 500 multifamily units under PG&E's Energy Upgrade California Multifamily Pilot Program, and will position participants to perform work under the 2014 full program roll-out.

The training agenda includes:

Multifamily central systems for BPI
Multifamily Building Analyst

Supplemental HERS II content specific
to multifamily content

Energy Audit protocols

BPI Multifamily and GreenPoint Rated Existing Home Multifamily program and verification protocols

Tools to complete a rating

Half-day field tutorial

Class will be held February 5th through 8th from 8 am to 5 pm at the CSU East Bay Oakland Center, with tutorial and written exams to follow on February 11th and 12th. To qualify to perform whole building energy audits, recommendations and third-party verifications under this program, raters must have completed the California Multifamily Existing Building Training.
