Build It Green is offering 2 full scholarships to local building and planning officials to attend the USGBC's Codes Summit at Greenbuild.

The Codes Summit
Nov 13 | 9am – 5:30pm | San Francisco

This full-day, multi-audience, 17-session, 50+ speaker summit on green building and the codes is hosted by the USGBC as part of this year's Greenbuild conference.

The summit will dive deep into green building codes and best practices to familiarize a diverse community of building professionals with emerging regulations in California and the rest of the nation.

California panelists include professionals like:

Tom Garcia, P.E., Chair, CALBO CEC Advisory Committee

Osama Younan, Chief, Green Building and Mechanical Engineering Section, Department of Building and Safety, City of Los Angeles

Panama Bartholomy, Office of the Speaker of the California Assembly, John Pérez

Education sessions are pre-approved for continuing education units from the International Codes Council, the Green Building Certification Institute, and the American Institute of Architects.
