GreenPoint Rated New Home Project Tracking System

Our new tracking system allows you to easily track your project in one place, see the carbon and water savings for a project and print certificates for completed projects.

If you missed the webinar on how to use the new GreenPoint Rated Tracking System, you can still watch it on our Rater Council web page. All Raters will eventually be required to submit project applications through this tracking system, so the sooner you are familiar with the upload process, the better.

Rater Training Program
Under Revision

We are reconfiguring our training program for GreenPoint Raters and Advisors. Under the new system, students will first need to complete a Core training, which covers the basics of the rating process as well as measures common among all four rating systems. Taking this course does not result in a certification, but it provides the foundation for all other certification modules. Anyone who is already certified as a New Home Rater or Advisor will not need to take the Core.

GreenProduct Directory Now Includes CalGreen Search Feature

Build it Green’s Green Product Directory now includes the option to search for building products that meet various CALGreen code requirements for residential projects. Simply select CALGreen Residential.

Reminder: Use New Data
Collection Form

In August 2010, the New Home Single Family Data Collection Form (DCF) Version 4.2 replaced Version 4.0. This means that all New Home Single Family projects submitting their initial DCF must now use Version 4.2. Download the latest DCF go to New Homes Tools.

Federal Energy Tax Credit Update

The federal government has renewed the energy tax credit for 2011, but at drastically lower levels. Homeowners now have a maximum $500 lifetime credit (was $1,500) for up to 10% (was 30%) of the costs to make their home more energy efficient.
