Program-wide GreenPoint Rated Updates
In response to the 2013 Building Code, which takes effect on January 1, 2014, we are releasing new versions of all four of our rating systems in the fall of 2013. All program updates involve input from our Rater community, and we will be convening technical advisory committees throughout the first quarter of 2013. Our first public comment period ended on October 31, 2012, but more opportunities to provide additional comments start in April 2013. Look for announcements on our website, the Rater eNews and during Rater Council meetings.
GPR Tracking System Updates
The GreenPoint Rated Tracking System continues to be improved! Changes to the submittal and administrative processes have recently improved functionality for all users, and next month we'll be making changes to the submittal status in order to improve clarity. (For a summary of the November 2012 Release, click here and here.)
Also, when the project receives the certificates, it will now be getting 2 new letters to distribute to the homeowner and the builder.
And we're excited to announce that in January, the GPR Tracking System will be available for Existing Home Single Family! Stay tuned for details.
