Why Green Homes?

Green labeled homes have been found to sell for a 9% premium. A recent study provided the first statistical evidence that a green label on a single-family home in California increases a home's value compared to a similar home without the label.

While this study surveyed newly built homes, labels can also increase the value of an existing home.

The Certified Green Real Estate Professional training is approved by the National Association of REALTORS for alternative program credit for NAR's Green Designation.

This means that students who successfully complete our Certified Green Real Estate Professionals course will not be required to take Green 100: Real Estate for a Sustainable Future, which is the first day of NAR's Green Designation program.

This comprehensive 2-day course helps you be your clients' go-to resource for energy efficiency rebates, green lending practices, and credible green building standards. It also qualifies for Level 1 NAR Green Designation Credential.
