Get BPI: Building Analyst certified and take advantage of the Energy Retrofit Revolution!

Don’t be left out, get BPI certified today!

Proposed Federal, State, and Utility Company tax breaks, incentives and rebates are designed to encourage residential energy efficiency upgrades.  Thousands and thousands of homes throughout California are targeted for these improvements through the various state-wide programs.  Most of these programs are requiring BPI certification for contractors to participate.  Don’t be left out, get BPI certified today!

Build It Green’s BPI: Building Analyst certification training course is designed to provide building professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the BPI: Building Analyst certification written exam and then some.  When you become a certified Building Analyst you’ll be able to provide homeowners with an overview of how their homes are currently performing by scientifically diagnosing the structure and evaluating it based upon efficiency, health, safety, and durability.  In addition to traditional BPI practices, our course also includes practice quizzes and daily homework to help you pass the BPI written test, a business tools and resources CD that you’ll find useful as you begin your new career, and guidance on how to make your retrofits “greener” by specifying environmentally materials as part of the work scope.

Our course is designed to be delivered partly in a classroom setting and partly in-the-field to give students practical hands-on experience using some of the diagnostic tools necessary for properly evaluating a home’s performance.  Course materials include a Training Workbook, Business Tools and Resources CD, and a Field Inspection Guidebook.  Building Science theory and basic knowledge are taught in the classroom to lay the foundation for good home performance problem solving and remediation.
