Real Estate Professionals

As of January 2009, Build It Green no longer coordinates a separate Real Estate Council. 

 

The real estate industry is an important partner in Build It Green's effort to stimulate demand for green homes.  There are many ways Build It Green continues to actively engage real estate professionals and support them in their ability to effect change in the green building industry:

  • Education for realtors and their clients
  • Cross-industry networking opportunities among a broad spectrum of green building professionals
  • Market research/data supporting the value of greener homes
  • Platform for real estate agents engaged in advocacy activities (e.g. to get green certifications included on MLS, public education, green financing options)
