Build It Green Councils Overview
Build It Green’s associate councils are unique collaborative entities that represent key stakeholders needed to make green building standard practice in California. The councils help individuals and organizations become effective green building practitioners while leveraging their numbers and expertise to have a greater impact on the adoption of green building practices, products and technologies:
Build It Green serves as an umbrella for the councils and actively supports and facilitates each council to help ensure their success. Most groups meet quarterly to share information, support each other’s programs and initiatives, and collaborate to accomplish the objectives set out by each council. Each council has specific requirements for becoming an affiliate.
