Build It Green Certified- GreenPoint Rater Training

Build It Green's Green Points Rater Training is open to California building professionals with specified qualifications. Green Points Raters will become familiar with home inspections and performance testing for Green building designs, products and practices.

Offers a wide array of energy efficiency trainings including the Building Operator Certification (BOC). Training topics include building systems overview, energy conservation, HVAC systems and controls, IAQ, electrical, and codes. Certification is competency-based and offered at two levels. BOC Level I emphasizes energy efficient building operation and maintenance practices, while BOC Level II emphasizes equipment preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

A national coalition of leaders from across the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. USGBC has developed the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System, as a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. USGBC offers trainings and certifications based on the LEED program and hosts the annual green building conference Green Build.
